Alyssa Kornegay (she/her) is a Summer Undergraduate Internship Program (SUIP) student at Penn. She is an undergraduate majoring in biochemistry at The University of Texas at Antonio. At UTSA, she is an APPEX scholar and member of the Honors program. Alyssa is interested in translational research and drug discovery, and plans to pursue graduate studies in the future.
